Overview

NEOMA Business School ’s MSc Wine & Gastronomy prepares students for international careers in the food, wine, spirits, beverage and hospitality industries. Taught entirely in English on the Reims campus, the programme combines advanced marketing and management expertise with an understanding of consumer behaviour and the distinctive characteristics of these global markets.

Students examine the environmental, economic and social dimensions of food production, including sustainable value chains, life-cycle assessment and the relationship between heritage and innovation. They also develop skills in branding, product development, territorial marketing and the management of collective brands.

Academic courses are complemented by practical workshops, case studies, company visits and Taste & Tell conferences with industry leaders. Students interact with winemakers, chefs and producers and can prepare for the internationally recognised WSET Level 2 or 3 qualification and the Champagne MOOC certification. A four-to-six-month professional experience in France or abroad allows them to apply their skills within the industry.

Graduates can pursue careers in brand or marketing management, export development, hospitality, wine tourism, market research, product development, journalism or entrepreneurship. Potential employers include wine and spirits companies, food and beverage brands, wineries, hospitality groups, consulting firms and specialist media.
