Overview
The Accounting program at the Florida Institute of Technology provides you with core business principles and practices, and advanced accounting skills critical to management or executive roles. Students in this program, offered 100% online, may also earn credits toward state requirements to take the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam or other accounting industry credentials.

What You'll Learn
In this program, you will be exposed to a variety of subjects, including cost estimation, cost and pricing decisions, overhead and marketing variances. You will learn how to analyze and present solutions to complex accounting problems. You will also learn how to interpret and apply current issues in the development and practice of managerial accounting. Developing the appropriate accounting, financial reporting and budget models for nonprofits, government agencies, universities and healthcare organizations will also be a component of this program.
