The School of Anthropology offers a graduate certificate in medical anthropology for motivated health science professionals, scholars from the developing world, and social scientists in the U.S. who have been trained at institutions that do not offer specialized training in medical anthropology.

The Medical Anthropology (Certificate NDP) program from The University of Arizona gives health science professionals and social scientists a deeper understanding of the factors that influence how societies prevent and treat illnesses, how medical systems fit within those environments and how other cultural norms impact health.
