Find out how you can advance in this growing field by developing strong analytical and deductive skills and enhancing your professional network. Complete this degree on our Chicago Campus or Fully Online.

Forensic accountants use auditing and investigative skills to determine the accuracy of financial reporting documents. Also referred to as forensic auditors or investigative auditors, they assist lawyers in performing investigations or act as expert witnesses in the litigation process. In the Master of Science in Accounting Forensics program offered at the Roosevelt University, students gain the required knowledge to advance in the field by working on teams in small classes, with case analyses and written and oral presentations.

Students work on teams in small classes, completing at least 31 credit hours of forensic accounting skills. Curriculum includes asset valuation, fraud examination, anti-money laundering, and computer forensics and auditing. The MSAF program also enhances students' preparedness to earn the following designations: the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA).
