Climate change and associated issues such as biodiversity loss and air pollution are among the greatest and most urgent issues facing humans today.
The Graduate Certificate in Science and Policy of Climate Change (Online) at the Royal Roads University consists of three credit courses delivered entirely online.
You'll be introduced to the science and impacts of climate change, climate policy, and governance from local to global levels and carry out an experiential, hands-on project to address climate change in organizations including First Nations, NGOs, industry, and governments at all levels.
You can choose to complete the certificate as a standalone credential, or individual courses may be available as electives as part of your graduate-level program. The program is offered as part of the partnership between Royal Roads University and ECO-Canada, the Environmental Careers Organisation of Canada.
