General requirements
- Possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related field from an accredited university; a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 is required
- Students applying to the program should have completed a course in Organic Chemistry with a laboratory component. Other recommended courses include biochemistry, genetics, and analytical/instrumental chemistry.
- Submit one official transcript from each post-secondary school attended
- Submit a Personal Statement and C.V. summarizing academic and professional achievements; the personal statement should address your interest in forensic science and your career objectives
- Submit a Writing Sample that demonstrates your academic writing
- Two letters of recommendation from university faculty members who know you well or from research/laboratory supervisors/investigators
