Study opportunities:

Students at Electrical Engineering in The University of New Mexico who successfully complete the curriculum will be prepared for master's level engineering positions at the Department of Defense, NASA, and private sector aerospace companies. Students will be prepared for space systems program career paths such as mission planning, project management, and spacecraft integration activities.

Our program provides consulting and specialized solutions for power system projects ranging from retrofits and upgrades up to microgrids and nation-wide power systems. Partner with our engineers for projects to specify, design, implement, test, and commission power systems, using hardware-in-the-loop testing to ensure reliability and efficiency. Our cybersecurity team can help assess security vulnerabilities, build strong cyber defenses, and streamline regulatory compliance.
