- a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; and
- completion of the teaching area specialisation requirements specified by the Faculty; and
- completion of any additional qualifying courses prescribed by the Faculty.
- Applicants who are one unit of study (equivalent to one quarter of a semester of full-time study or 0.125 EFTSL) short of meeting the prerequisites for admission to the Master of Teaching (Secondary) may be given special permission to study the deficient unit in another faculty or institution during their first semester while undertaking their Master of Teaching.
- If English is not your first language, you may be able to prove English proficiency with an approved English skills test taken within 2 years of commencing the course.
