Description
This scholarship supports students from Papua New Guinea to study a postgraduate degree in the fields of agriculture, health, education and social work.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend valued at the at Research Training Program (RTP) rate, other benefits include:
academic course fees
Student Services Amenities fees (SSAF)
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
visa application fee
one return economy airfare between Port Moresby and Sydney
Advanced Skills for Academic Success Program (ASAS) (compulsory four-week program)
a book allowance of $350 per semester for two semesters only.
This scholarship is tenable for the CRICOS-registered duration of your study, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
Eligibility
You must:
- be a citizen of Papua New Guinea
- have an unconditional offer of to study a Master of Agriculture and Environment, Master of Public Health, Master of Global Health, Master of Education or Master of Social Work
- have applied for admission in Semester 1 and received an unconditional offer of admission by 31 October in the previous year
- have an Australian bachelor's degree with outstanding results, as deemed by the University of Sydney.
