The Applied Mathematics MSc programme from Northeastern University is designed to address the needs of current and aspiring applied mathematics professionals who work in sectors such as financial services and investment management, data science and high tech, information and software development, academia, and research.

Career outlook

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the overall employment of data scientists is projected to grow 35% from 2022 to 2032, much faster than the average for all occupations. The average annual wage for data scientists is $103,500 as of September 2023.
