Overview

The Natural Resources - Restoration Ecology and Habitat Management curriculum is designed to give you the tools to apply conservation principles to a broad range of restoration challenges, including community preparedness practices, restoration and remediation of aquatic, terrestrial and even atmospheric (air quality) environments. University of Idaho courses and faculty represent a wide breadth of knowledge and on-the-ground experience in fire, wildlife and fisheries, rangelands, environmental sciences, and forest ecology and policy.

The restoration ecology and habitat management option of the MNR also challenges you to grow your skills in advanced science interpretation and communication across all subjects. Successful restoration and habitat management requires working with people and communities, and we prepare you to lead your fellow professionals and peers to successfully conserve and manage our cherished natural resources. Join the country’s largest natural resources graduate program in person or online.
