Overview
Organizations today are meeting these new challenges by relying on the Internet of Things, Robotic Process Automation, and other smart technologies, and data-savvy business professionals are in demand.
Differentiate yourself with a STEM-designated Master of Science in Accounting and Business Analytics (MAcc + BA) that will prepare you to pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam while gaining technical skills in multivariate data analysis, data programming, data mining, and database management.
At the University of Pittsburgh we offer a bachelor degree in Accounting and Business Analytics. The program covers the content areas of the exam and satisfies the 150 credit-hour requirement in Pennsylvania and many other U.S. states to become a CPA.
Once you're admitted to the MAcc + BA program, your previous academic coursework will be reviewed to determine whether you'll need two or three terms to complete the program. You may be required to complete additional prerequisite courses or be eligible to waive courses. This program requires successful completion of a minimum of 33 credits.
