Why Choose Speech Pathology at WIU?

The graduate program in Speech Pathology at Western Illinois University is a close-knit community of students and faculty.  Class sizes are twenty or fewer which allows for lively group discussions and hands-on learning.  Students frequently meet with faculty one-on-one to discuss course material, clinic clients, or future career plans.  We are one of only a handful of graduate programs to offer a formal study abroad opportunity.  During the summer between the fist and second years, two to four students travel to Cardiff, Wales to complete clinical practica experiences through Cardiff Metropolitan University.
