Developed in collaboration with law enforcement associations, the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership (Online) program at University of San Diego goes far beyond a traditional criminal justice education by focusing on contemporary issues and refining the skills needed to address today’s law enforcement challenges. A defining characteristic of our program is our faculty, comprised of experienced criminal justice professionals with experience ranging from police chief to district attorney to a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marines.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Professional experience in law enforcement, active-duty military, public safety or a related field
  • Bachelor’s GPA minimum of 2.75 or higher.  An extended graduate-level essay may be required of applicants whose undergraduate GPA is under 2.75.
  • TOEFL scores of 90 or above (if applicable)
