It is a coursework-only degree that can be completed in one year and is designed for students with an engineering background who want to solve today's many contemporary environmental challenges with an emphasis on water, air, soil, and energy.

The nationally ranked Environmental Engineering program delivered at The University of Arizona offers candidates access to its long-standing strengths in water and wastewater treatment science and technology, preparing you for careers in industry, government, consulting and academia in the rapidly growing field of environmental engineering. In the master's program, graduate students participate in multidisciplinary research collaborations with peers and faculty in chemical engineering; hydrology and atmospheric sciences; civil engineering; mining and geological engineering; and environmental science.
