Offered online and on-campus in South Florida, the Master of Science in Information Technology degree program offered by Nova Southeastern University focuses on meeting the needs of users within an organizational and societal context through the selection, creation, application, integration and administration of computing technologies and resources. This program offers practical skills applicable to complex real-world information technology problems.

A graduate with a M.S. in Information Technology will have the ability to (1) communicate information technology concepts, designs, and solutions effectively and professionally; (2) apply knowledge of information technology to produce effective designs and solutions for specific problems; (3) identify, analyze, and synthesize professional literature relating to the field of information technology; and (4) use current technologies, tools, software systems, modern computing platforms, and apply best practices to develop real-world solutions for specific problems (e.g., applications, deployments, etc.).

General requirements

The Master of Science in Information Technology degree is designed for students with undergraduate majors in science, math, engineering, or business. In addition, applicants must have knowledge of structured programming in a modern high-level language.

General Requirements:

An earned bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 2.5 from a regionally accredited institution and with an appropriate major. (see program-specific admission requirements under individual programs). Lower GPA scores must be accompanied with a supplemental letter explaining why the low GPA does not reflect inadequate potential for success in the program.
Online application and non-refundable $50 application fee.
