Topics such as quality assurance, lean manufacturing and enterprise resource planning are complemented with the study of financial management, project management, managerial economics and more.

The Engineering Management - Information Systems program of Indiana Tech will give students the opportunity to complete a wider range of engineering management courses. Engineering managers frequently use company information systems to improve operations. The IS concentration includes topics such as enterprise networking and communication, systems analysis and design and information processing.

Student Learning Outcomes

Evaluate the implications of business decisions that may impact safety, health and/or the environment.

Identify and evaluate ethical dilemmas and apply ethical decision-making techniques to resolve them.

Propose strategies for the efficient integration and alignment of the different areas of the company, from the shop floor to finance and marketing.

Evaluate the current state of operations in a company in order to initiate and maintain a process of continuous improvement for the organization.

Communicate effectively in both a written and verbal format.
