Funding Opportunities

The AfterCollege/AACN Scholarships support students who are seeking a baccalaureate, master's or doctoral degree in nursing. Eight $2,500 scholarships are awarded throughout the year. A limited number of nursing scholarships may be available. A FAFSA form must be completed and on file to be considered for the scholarship. The Nursing program at Chatham University offers faculty expertise and support in an interactive learning environment that encourages reflection and growth in professional practice. Through exposure to evidence-based practice, interprofessional collaboration, and experiential learning opportunities, students gain essential skill sets to advance in roles in one of our three tracks: nursing leadership, nursing education, or nursing informatics. 

The curriculum consists of 11 (six core and five specialty track) 15-week courses. The Master of Science in Nursing program (along with Chatham's DNP) was ranked in the top 100 of all programs in the U.S. News & World Report "2018 Best Online Programs" edition.

GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. It contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.
GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.
