Programme Overview

We will prepare you to become a leader capable of transforming your school to meet the needs of today and tomorrow. The imperative has never been greater given the effects of a society that is increasingly information-based, technological, global, and diverse.

We offer a master degree in Education Leadership at the University of Pittsburgh. We've designed our programs with flexibility in mind in order to accommodate working professionals.

The newly redesigned supervisor of curriculum and instruction certificate program is an innovative model of preparation based on strategic practices and core content known to increase student learning and achievement.

The program is intended to build the capacity of aspiring supervisors to work closely with school leaders to improve teacher effectiveness and thereby improve student learning.

Drawing from the fields of education and management, the program equips the next generation of supervisors with expertise in instructional, supervisory, and curriculum leadership.
