About

This master's degree examines the responsibilities of a human resources leader, with emphasis on becoming a strategic partner with executives and departments within an organization. You will learn how analytics can be developed, analyzed, and utilized to support and promote human capital and other organizational initiatives and investments. Your degree path will culminate with a Capstone Project, in which you will develop a strategic plan for a human resources department. You will analyze an organization from the various functional areas within human resources, conduct in-depth research of the human resources field, and prepare material designed to aid you in your human resources career.

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 3

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

 You must meet the following admission requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or a U.S. equivalent degree from a nationally or internationally accredited college or university.
  • Have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or better from the most recent 60 credits of coursework earned toward the bachelor’s degree or have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better in previous graduate level coursework earned toward the graduate degree. 
  • Colleges may require letters of recommendation and essays in certain circumstances.
