The Nonprofit Leadership Studies program offered by Lynchburg College will prepare existing or aspiring nonprofit practitioners to use leadership and management tools to create high-performing nonprofit organizations.

Overview

The Nonprofit Leadership Studies 30-credit hour program offered by Lynchburg College features:

Curriculum focused on applied learning – transfer of knowledge from theory to practice.

Executive format:
  • two courses per semester will be offered on-campus for four designated weekends  per semester (fall and spring for two years)
  • weekend format will include Fridays 1-9 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m. for fall and spring semesters
  • one summer course will be taught each year – meeting for three designated weekends on Fridays 5-9 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • online courses are offered for students who want to complete the program in as little as one year

Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.
