We’ll need official transcripts from every college or university you have attended, including one showing a bachelor’s degree earned from a regionally accredited college or university (doctoral programs may also require a master’s degree). Have your previous institutions send your transcripts directly to the University of La Verne’s Office of Admission.
- Letters of Recommendation. Have a professor, colleague, supervisor, mentor, etc., write us a letter about your academic and professional competency. (Hint: You can send a recommendation request form in the application.)
- Personal Statement. Demonstrate your ability to write at an acceptable level for graduate study. (Hint: Some programs have specific prompts or topics that they want to see in your personal statement.
