Overview
Education
Courses typically meet in the evenings once a week and are sequenced so that students can complete the program in two years. Classes meet in-person, face-to-face, on Eastern's beautiful campus. Parking is easy and close to classrooms. Classes take full advantage of Blackboard, Eastern's online course delivery system, to provide assignments, discussion boards, links to resources, and other course materials.
Classes are small (typically about 10 students) and highly interactive. Sharing and reflecting on work experience with classmates is integral to the MSOM educational experience. Students develop new friendships and professional contacts that continue many years after graduation.
The Master’s of Science in Organizational Management (MSOM) from Eastern Connecticut State University is focused on understanding and mastering the dynamics of complex organizations. Courses cover individual behavior, group dynamics, organizational processes and structure and effective organizational communication.
