About

The Master of Science Education in School Counseling from the Northwest Missouri State University is a 45-hour, two-year program that focuses on school counseling in elementary, middle and secondary schools.

Overview

Students enroll in a cohort setting allowing for individualized support from faculty and classmates.

The program in School Counselling at the Northwest Missouri State University trains students in a developmental approach to school counseling and the Missouri Comprehensive School Counseling Program. With using this approach, the program focuses on the three primary functions of the modern school counselor: consultation, coordination and counseling.
