Overview
Offering two tracks; entry-level and post-graduate—the Health Informatics and Information Management program from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is 100 percent online, allowing working professionals the flexibility to acquire their degree when and how they desire.
Students learn skills in design systems using MySQL, a leading database management system, and Lean Six Sigma for health care quality improvement.
Programme Structure
- Combining business, data analysis, information technology, and health care, graduates are prepared to implement or develop systems from electronic health records to resources in health care data administration, quickly transitioning into leadership roles in health informatics.

- For non-US applicants, official test scores should be sent directly from the contributing source and not by the student. Official transcripts and three recommendation letters are required.
- Transcripts from any non-US institution must be verified and certified to generate a grade point average (GPA) based on a 4.0 scale. Verification must be completed before matriculation. Service agencies include, but are not limited to, Educational Credit Evaluation (ECE) and World Education Services (WES). A document-by-document certification is not acceptable. These agencies charge a fee for their service.
