- A completed master’s degree from a regionally accredited university with at least a 3.00 overall GPA or
- An awarded bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university with at least a 3.00 GPA on the last 60 hours or
- An awarded bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university with at least a 2.75 GPA or higher

- Writing sample: we recommend submitting an extended paper from your undergraduate work, such as a music history or conducting analysis paper. If you need additional suggestions, we’d be happy to discuss this with you
- English proficiency
- Students applying for the Performance and Piano Pedagogy track are required to complete an audition
- Music Education applicants are required to complete an interview
