This is a flexible program at Salem State University that offers students the opportunity to create a unique Social Work experience through their choices of electives and field placements. Students can complete the program in two or more years.

- Options available include an Evening Cohort Program, Advanced Standing option available for those with a BSW degree, and our Fall Start Program which has flexible completion times.

- Start the online application, so you can receive application reminders and updates.
- Order official transcripts or transcript evaluations, take any required exams, and begin organizing your references, personal statements.
- Submit additional information that a graduate program may require, such as a resume, passing MTEL scores or educator license, or additional writing sample.
- Once ALL materials are received, the application will be reviewed by the department. The decision timeline depends on each individual program. Once an admissions decision is made, it will be posted in your Navigator account and communicated via email.
