Engage with diverse cultures and building traditions—both historical and contemporary—through travel-based learning around the country and across the globe as well as in co-ops with leading firms.
The Master of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology is offered in 3 tracks, corresponding to your undergraduate preparation:
- The 1-year track is for graduates of Wentworth’s BS in Architecture program.
- The 2-year track is for candidates who have a pre-professional BA or BS degree in Architecture from another NAAB-accredited school or a BS in Interior Design from Wentworth.
- The 3-year track is for candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in a discipline other than Architecture.

- Design Portfolio: Portfolios should include work that demonstrates your proficiency in architecture and/or other visual media; they should reflect the full range of your creative, research, and technical skills. The portfolio should be submitted as an electronic PDF file.
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture students at Wentworth who wish to enroll in the one-year Master of Architecture program must do so in their senior year.
- Candidates who have earned a four-year NAAB-based Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree at another institution must complete the external candidate application process for the two-year program.
- Candidates who have earned a four-year undergraduate degree in a discipline other than architecture may apply to the 3-year track.
