Overview
You will be able to tailor your education to meet your goals. Choose between a thesis track focusing on research designed for students who wish to gain more experience in research or a non-thesis track for students interested in taking more courses.
Both tracks will help students to enter the workforce upon graduation or to apply to Ph.D. programs following their master’s degree. SUNY Oswego’s research intensive program using advanced facilities in the research labs makes students more marketable to industry, Ph.D. institutions, and professional/medical schools.
Our Chemistry program at the State University of New York at Oswego includes a professional track option designed to include business management electives selected from our award-winning MBA programs. Students will take courses such as operations management to prepare for the application of business principles to chemistry.
