The Chemistry program at the State University of New York at Oswego Is designed to allow students to pursue advanced training in chemistry – which focuses on a variety of career goals, both academic and professional, bolstered by individual mentoring and extensive research opportunities.


You will be able to tailor your education to meet your goals. Choose between a thesis track focusing on research designed for students who wish to gain more experience in research or a non-thesis track for students interested in taking more courses.

Both tracks will help students to enter the workforce upon graduation or to apply to Ph.D. programs following their master’s degree.
