Overview
The Master of Arts in International Relations at the University of Indianapolis aims at providing students with the expertise necessary for them to pursue careers in the field of international relations. It will provide students with knowledge and skills needed to become competent professionals in a variety of employment settings—diplomacy, government agencies, multinational corporations, research institutions, NGOs, and international organizations.
Students will attain a broad understanding of the political, social, and economic evolution of the international system in the 20th and 21st centuries The relative political and economic power of states, the role of regional and international organizations, and the existence and resolution of conflict and issues of human rights will be central to the course of study.

- Online graduate application
- $30 application fee
- Official transcripts from each university or college attended, showing completion of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution. If applying from outside the U.S., the applicant's transcript should show the equivalent of a bachelor's degree.
- Official Graduate Record Exams (GRE) scores. (You do not have to take and submit GRE scores if your undergraduate grade point average was over a 3.2)
- Three letters of recommendation by former professors who are familiar with your academic performance. If mailed, these individuals should directly mail their letters to the College of Arts and Sciences.
