What Will I Learn?

The Applied Psychology Program at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania emphasizes the application of psychological principles and methodologies to real world problems. The curriculum combines a sequence of required courses in research methodology, psychology courses with an applied emphasis across a variety of content areas, electives and a capstone course.

What Kinds of Experiences Could I Have?

This program is 100 percent online. All courses are eight weeks in duration except for the capstone course which is 10 weeks. The capstone course is taken during the last semester and is a culmination of the coursework and experiences in the program. This graduate program was designed with flexibility in order to meet the needs of both full-time and part-time students, all of whom can begin and end the program during any semester. In addition, we welcome recent graduates beginning new careers, as well as those who can use this degree for promotional purposes or a change in career paths.

Have completed at least three semester hours of undergraduate work in psychology
Have completed an undergraduate course in statistics
