Overview
At Teaching from Southern Oregon University candidates choose to do either the Multiple Subjects (Elementary) endorsement or a Single Subject endorsement.
The MAT program is offered in two formats: the one-year program, which starts in June and is full-time for four quarters and the two-year program, which is a twenty-one-month program beginning in September.
Students progress through the program in a cohort arrangement: they enter together, enroll in the same classes, and finish together as a community of learners. Upon successful completion, students receive the Master of Arts in Teaching degree in addition to the Oregon teaching license.
