About American Law for Foreign Lawyers at Saint Louis University
LL.M. students complete 24 credits of coursework over two semesters, generally in the fall and spring, with the opportunity to continue through the following summer to complete a thesis. Students choose from the full range of courses and seminars offered at the School of Law and may select up to three credits of courses from Saint Louis University's Chaifetz School of Business, College for Public Health and Social Justice, or 44 other graduate programs.

- If you are applying to enter SLU as a first-time, freshman student, you'll need to complete an essay.
- There is no application fee for undergraduate admission.
- Send transcripts of all secondary work.
- These are scores from any standardized test you may have taken to prepare for college- TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, SAT, ACT or Duolingo score. All of our international applicants are required to demonstrate their English proficiency.
- If you do not meet SLU’s direct entry requirements, we encourage you to apply to the Pathway or English Language programs.
