Overview

The Public Administration program at Tarleton State University curriculum components are designed to develop leadership capacity and produce professionals capable of critical thinking and ethical decision making.

The M.P.A program is designed for students who are passionate about serving their communities. The program emphasizes hands-on learning that is grounded in real-world experiences. We deliver high quality education through an innovative curriculum and dedicated teaching by professors who have practical experience in public and nonprofit organizations. In addition, since many of our students are full-time professionals, our students also have the opportunity to interact and network with other professionals in the field and be part of our vibrant alumni network.

Submit online graduate admissions application

Pay a $50 non-refundable processing fee

Submit a statement of purpose of 600 words or less

A transcript evaluation must be completed by an approved agency which includes all previous academic course work, as well as a complete description of courses and overall GPA (course-by-course evaluation)

International applicants are required to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores as a part of the application process

Required of students studying on-campus, in the U.S. only: To obtain a Form I-20 for your studies at Tarleton, you must demonstrate that you have sufficient funding
