Overview
Students in the Health Administration program from Catholic University of America are given a strong foundation in analytical problem solving, budgeting and finance, ethics, legal and policy analyses.
Upon completion of the Master of Health Administration, students will be able to:
- Think critically and integrate quantitative and qualitative analyses to decision making within the sphere of health administration.
- Understand and communicate the current state of public policy, policy development, and laws related to the health care industry.
- Apply the theories of leadership and administration within real-world contexts.
- Apply ethical behavior to evaluating and solving problems of leadership, budgeting and finance, human capital, fundraising, and law and policies related to health administration.
The MHA program consists of 40 credits split between a foundational curriculum of 25 credits and a specialized curriculum of 15 credits. The curriculum is designed to be completed within 4 term full time or 7 terms part time, with the capstone course being the sole class taken in any students' final semester.
