If you are interested in teaching theatre in K-12 classrooms and have an undergraduate theatre degree, this program is tailored for you.

The Teaching: Theatre program from Rowan University is a full-time program. The program cycle includes two summer sessions, a fall semester, and a spring semester. Teachers in the state of New Jersey may apply to the Master of Science in Teaching (M.S.T.) in Theatre Education program through the New Jersey Teacher Outreach Program (NJTOP®).

In our program, you will hone your skills in both the practical and theoretical aspects of the theatre arts, while developing the educational tools that are necessary to teach drama to children of all ages.
