Overview

Courses are taught in the evenings at LMU's Westchester Campus. Programs are typically completed in five or six semesters. Courses are also offered during the summers which could shorten the time to complete.

The flexible format is designed so you can proceed at your own pace to earn your graduate degree.

Through the Department of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science prospective students can earn a Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.) in Civil Engineering and have the option of emphasizing in one of the following:
  • Emphasis in Water Resources Engineering
  • Emphasis in Environmental Engineering

The objective of the program is to provide the educational background needed by engineers and scientists who will be coping with the complex problems of water and air pollution, flood control, water supply, wastewater treatment, solid waste, hazardous materials management, environmental impact assessment, and overall environmental management.

GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.
GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.
