General requirements
- You should have an undergraduate degree Grade Point Average of at least 2.75/4.0
- If you have completed any previous graduate/master’s degree courses, you must have an overall graduate level Grade Point Average of at least a 3.0/4.0
- Students entering the graduate program in Chemistry must take the general GRE and have a minimum score of 300
- In addition, students that do not have an undergraduate degree in Chemistry must take the GRE chemistry subject exam.
- All students must submit a transcript and give two choices of focus area interests (to be designated by the department faculty). Examples of focus areas: Inorganic synthesis, spectroscopy, biochemistry, etc
- A completed online application accompanied by the appropriate application fee ($30 for U.S. applicants/$40 for International applicants)
- All students are required to present written documentation of measles, mumps and rubella immunization
