Speech pathology and audiology is an exciting and growing field. At Calvin University, you'll work in our clinics providing care for patients studying the causes and treatment of a variety of disorders, all within the supporting framework of reformed Christian faith.

You will also have the option of completing a thesis at the end of the Speech-Language Pathology program.

General requirements

Graduation from a regionally accredited undergraduate college or university. If you have a degree in another major, you need to complete the necessary prerequisites PRIOR to applying to our MA program.
Prerequisite SPAUD courses must have been completed within the last seven years.
A minimum overall GPA of at least a 3.0 and a minimum GPA of 3.0 (no exceptions).
Three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with your academic and/or professional abilities.
A personal statement that describes professional goals as well as three strengths and three areas of growth related to your place in a graduate program for speech-language pathology(maximum 500 words).
Successful completion (with at least a 3.0 GPA) of the undergraduate prerequisites or their equivalents.
Enrollment in the MA program is also contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, fingerprint check, and drug screen.
