Overview

Students who take the Master of Science in Clinical Research from Rush University will complete a master’s thesis that can also be used as a publication and the basis of a National Institutes of Health career development award.

Highlights

You will perform independent research in your second year with a faculty mentor in your area of interest.
Applicants include residents, fellows, nurses, pharmacists and other health care professionals interested in clinical research.
The Clinical Research program offers international students the opportunity to become familiar with the U.S. academic medical environment.
Through the program, clinicians at Rush University Medical Center or John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County can undertake mentored clinical research with experienced faculty.

Unofficial transcripts - An unofficial copy of your transcript from each college and university attended is required. Copies should be uploaded online via the application system only.

Grade point average - GPAs must be converted to a 4.0 scale.

Standardized test scores.

TOEFL scores - Scores must be submitted for international applicants who have received a diploma from a university at which English is not the language of instruction. TOEFL scores will be waived for non-native English speakers who have completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a US accredited institution and have demonstrated language proficiency supported by the interview.

Applicant fee - A $50 application fee is required to submit the application.
