This Leadership Development programme offered by Chapman University brings together a diverse group of students in a cohort model structure typically completed in two years.

Through the MLD, students will:

Increase self-awareness and develop a leadership vision to implement for the common good

Develop leadership skills to facilitate collaboration among teams and groups with diverse identities, experiences, and perspectives

Apply organizational and leadership theories and research to create system change to address small- and large-scale social challenges

Critically examine leadership systems and structures and create spaces for equitable organizations, communities, schools and institutions

General requirements

Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.

Have achieved the required admission grade point average as specified in the admission section. Entrance tests are waived for students who hold a bachelor’s degree or higher with a grade point average equivalent to a 3.000 or above on a four point scale. Applicants with a grade point average between 2.500 and 2.990 are required to submit passing scores from one of the following standard admission tests:

Official Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores.

Millers Analogies Test (MAT): achieve a minimum scaled score of 404.

California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET): achieve a passing score.
