General requirements

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by a regional accrediting association.
  • You must have earned a minimum of a 2.75 GPA from the undergraduate degree-granting institution.
  • Our program does not require you to take the GRE.
  • You will need to upload a statement of purpose to your online application.
  • If you plan to pursue our program’s concentration in secondary teaching license, you will need to upload three letters of recommendation with your online application. These may not be from family members.
  • Ball State must receive transcripts for all applicants.
  • Complete our online application.
  • Applications are $60 per program.
