You’ll graduate from Ball State University as a highly-trained professional in the high-demand fields of strategic communication, user-centered design, user experience research, transmedia storytelling, design thinking, public relations, advertising, healthcare, corporate business, education and more.

Features

You’ll engage audiences in two-way storytelling and create multimedia stories built for strategic communication, work with real-world clients to develop compelling content and deploy emerging technology to support storytelling and design. We offer our classes in the evening to accommodate our students' personal and professional schedules. The program offers both full-time and part-time options on campus, as well as a part-time, low-residency program that is ideal for working professionals.

Low-residency Emerging Media Design and Development students attend a once-per-semester workshop at the Center for Academic Innovation at Launch Fishers (in Fishers, Indiana), and the remainder of the coursework is completed online. Our award-winning faculty are agile and adaptive, embracing a fast-changing media landscape that pushes innovation and entrepreneurial learning.
