Accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), the Architecture program of Ball State University is for students who seek professional licensure. We offer two options for completing the master of architecture professional degree.

Two-Year Program

You have a pre-professional degree in architecture

The Master of Architecture (M.Arch) professional degree is for students who seek licensure in the profession and is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB).

Three-Year Program

You have a bachelor’s degree in a discipline other than architecture

Our three-year M.Arch program is designed for students with undergraduate degrees in fields other than architecture or in related environmental design and planning disciplines. Students begin taking foundation classes in architecture and design during the Fall semester. Previous equivalent course work may be waived when submitted, documented, and approved by the Graduate Director.
