The mission of the Healthcare Administration program from Texas State University is to prepare leaders to serve in a variety of diverse healthcare environments and to add to the body of knowledge in healthcare management and leadership.

The vision of the School of Health Administration is to be the health administration school of choice for students, faculty, alumni and employers. The school values and teaches leadership, service, scholarship, professionalism, and lifelong learning.

M.H.A. graduates of both formats generally work in mid-level and senior-level management positions in areas such as operational and strategic management, business development, quality performance management and systems management, among others.
