Overview
Texas State’s master of healthcare administration program has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) since 1992. Because CAHME accreditation requires continual self-evaluation, regular reports and periodic external review, the educational quality of the programs remains current and reflects changes in knowledge and practice.
The mission of the Healthcare Administration program from Texas State University is to prepare leaders to serve in a variety of diverse healthcare environments and to add to the body of knowledge in healthcare management and leadership. The vision of the School of Health Administration is to be the health administration school of choice for students, faculty, alumni and employers. The school values and teaches leadership, service, scholarship, professionalism, and lifelong learning.
