The Electro-Optics program from University of Dayton are proud to be one of only a handful of academic programs in the world that offer a degree in this area. We are a true interdisciplinary department, crossing the boundary between engineering and physics.

Our world-class photonics laboratories are uniquely designed to provide you with hands-on learning. Our focus areas of research directly align with those of government labs and commercial industries, which allows you to obtain real-world and highly marketable research experiences. We also have many internships with our partner industries available. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to network and travel to exciting places for technical conferences.

Official academic records of all previously attended colleges or universities must be submitted directly from the colleges or universities to the Office of Graduate Admission Processing. Hand-carried transcripts, official copies marked Issued to Student and unofficial copies are not acceptable.
