Overview

The course work at the M.M. in Music Education at Ohio University is divided equally between music education and other studies with many possible options, varying according to the student's needs and interests. Applicants for the music education graduate degree must provide a ten minute video recording which demonstrates proficiency in teaching.

Academic writing sample: Papers should be 3-5 pages in length (not including cover page, abstract, or references).
Letter of Recommendation: Please provide a letter of recommendation from someone who has seen you teach (colleague, Principal, etc.), and can speak about your potential for success at the graduate level.
