About this Degree

The Theological Studies MTS program at University of Notre Dame is a two-year academic program that encourages students to give attention to the full range and scope of theological education so that their theological work has both breadth and depth.

It not only gives students exposure to all the major areas of theological scholarship but also requires concentrated research in at least one theological area.

Students in the MTS program also have access to the courses and faculty of other departments in the University, which enables them to envision and pursue creative research programs that link theological study to other academic areas.
