Overview
This Social Work (MSW) degree at Syracuse University empowers the next generation of social work leaders and equips them with the tools to enact the change they want to see in their communities. Syracuse’s M.S.W. programme prepares social workers committed to the values of human dignity and who help others navigate life’s challenges.
Students can choose between full-time or part-time study in our on-campus, residential programme, or online part-time study. An Advanced Standing programme is available in all formats for applicants who already have an undergraduate degree in Social Work. The M.S.W. is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), and prepares graduates to earn the social work license by sitting for the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) licensing examination.
