Overview

Students who complete the German program from Wayne State University gain skills in translation, textual analysis, and intercultural competency. Applicants must demonstrate competency in German.

Previous graduates of our program hold a variety of high school and college-level teaching positions, have gone on to receive a Ph.D. at Wayne State and other universities. Our graduates have obtained employment in the automotive industry and with other private-sector employers.
